To rise to the top chart of the world’s richest is a wow task.
No matter how young they may be, there’s a lesson or two to learn from their experiences, stories, tactics, and so on.
Here are the lessons I learned from studying these uber-successful people
1. Add value
To earn more money, you need to add value to your potential customers.
Some people want to make money without offering value. Well, that’s never gonna happen.
No matter how minute, your product or service must add value to your customer. It may be information through your blog or selling snacks to workers; those are values.
Today, Google has pivoted to an indispensable platform, Microsoft to a foremost app for personal computers and Facebook to the most utilized platform for interacting and connecting.
They all add values of immense benefits. And guess what? They earn as much.
2. Keep working
I’ll keep working until the end – Amancio Ortega
Today, most businesses fail as a result of laxity.
Facebook, since inception, keeps upgrading with different and new features. Ditto for Google, Windows, and many others. The spirit must always be high; you need to expand and establish widely to earn more.
The harder you work, the luckier you get – Aliko Dangote
3. Don’t get dampened by your disadvantages
I have had all of the disadvantages required for success – Larry Ellison
To thread success’s path, you need to move against all odds and focus solely on your goal.
The founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison, contacted pneumonia at a young age, lost his mother, and almost got into bankruptcy in the 1990s, yet he keeps moving. He is now No 7 of the richest persons in the world according to Forbes.
4. Hire more capable hands
What has changed is that people have stopped working together – Michael Bloomberg
It is absurd to have the hope of expanding without employing more hands.
In fact, the more you expand, the more employee you’ll need. An entrepreneur willing to be successful should not be stingy to employ people and in fact, should not feel reluctant to hire experts.
5. Strive to be the best
In whatever you do, strive to be the best at it – Aliko Dangote
It is glaring that the world’s richest people are largely the best or among the best in their various crafts.
This tells the reason for their success. Do not be a mediocre or a pessimist. Always aim for the top.
With this, you will, day by day, move to the successful plane.
Experience is the teacher of all things – Julius Caesar
Being wise is to learn from how predecessors scale through to arrive at where they are.
“Is there anything so wise as to learn from the experience by the experience of others?” (Voltaire)
So, sip from this great source of knowledge.
