Many a time, we crave for early success, and of course, that’s adorable.
But, this may not be the same for everyone. Some would make it early in life while some others, late in life.
Early success may sometimes be impeded when you do not make a move to start or when your move fails.
Whichever category you fall, don’t make a mistake to decide not to try again.
If you haven’t started anything, don’t be dejected to thinking it’s late for you; you can always start whatever business you wish to start.
On the other hand, if you once started but encountered failure, (or you’ve started many times but encountered failure in all), do not despair; you can always make it on your next try.
A great writer, J. K. Rowling, who authored Harry Potter series was an early writer (she started writing at the age of six). She started writing her Harry Potter series at the age of 25. She didn’t get published until the age of 32 after been rejected by a number of publishers.
“I write nearly every evening, then typed the whole thing out myself on an old manual typewriter, covered the first three chapters in a nice plastic folder and sent them off to an agent. They were returned so fast, they must have been sent back the same day they arrived.
But at the second attempt, Christopher Little wrote back asking to see the rest of the manuscript. It was far and away the best letter I had ever received in my life – and it was only two sentences long.”
Today, her net worth over time is $1 Billion.
A popular author, George Orwell became popular through his widely known novels – “Animal Farm” and “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”
Animal Farm was published in 1949 (when he was 42 years old) and Nineteen Eighty-Four was published in 1949 (when he was 46 years old).
This author died at the age of 47, meaning both books were published toward the end of his life. (He died on January 21, 1950, at the age of 47).
The only time when you are too late to start is when you are dead.
Henry Ford quoted;
“IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO A THING OR THINK YOU CAN’T DO A THING, YOU’RE RIGHT.”
“FAILURE IS SIMPLY THE OPPORTUNITY TO BEGIN AGAIN, THIS TIME, MORE INTELLIGENTLY.”
“YOU CAN’T BUILD A REPUTATION ON WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO.”
